Outage Reporting
We do our best to keep power on for each home and business in our service area. However, there are times when unexpected conditions will cause temporary power loss. When storms or other circumstances cause an outage, we take immediate action to restorce service. Here are the steps to follow if you believe you have experienced a power outage:
- Check for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers to make sure the problem is not on your side of the meter.
- Have ready your name as it appears on your bill, along with your phone number and account number if possible, then Call to Report the Outage:

Automated Outage Reporting System: 1.800.900.9406 - Turn off all large appliances that come on automatically and disconnect sensitive equipment such as DVD's, computers and TV's to avoid damage from lightening or a power surge. Leave a single lamp on to let you know when your electric service has been restored.
- Never go near or touch downed power lines or anything, such as trees or branches, contacting power lines.
